24th October 2022 is the most auspicious day we at Ashoshi waited to celebrate. The power of Indian tradition goes beyond the boundary of caste, religion, state, and culture when we celebrate together being Indians. Most of our staff members belong to northeastern states and grew up with different cultures and traditions starting from the outfit to the cuisine.
On Diwali day, they geared up and we facilitate the environment for them to feel the festive vibes. Keeping the feel of Indian traditions, they decided to wear saree, jewellery, bindi, etc, on this most celebrated day. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening together by participating in all activities planned for that day, i.e., lighting up Diya, candles, firing crackers, eating mithais, and some rituals.
What a great feeling to see happy faces around – I hope you can read their expression seeing the picture above
Concluding this experience of life with the quote: We can only be strong and fight for our well-being and for a better future when we will act and think as Indian – A message to the society we live in!!
