Responsible for all massages, treatment-related activities, and the guests&#8217; safety&nbsp;in the massage room.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and posture of himself\/herself and all personnel involved in the massage room operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Perform opening and closing procedures.<\/li><li>Arrange workstation, treatment room, and drapes.\u00a0<\/li><li>Helps promote the massage to the SPA members<\/li><li>Provides individualised bodywork treatments that meet the guest\u2019s needs and expectations.<\/li><li>Be thoroughly familiar with and able to recommend Spa products and treatments<\/li><li>Obtains the basic medical history of a client, assesses any problems or conditions and suggests appropriate therapy based on the client&#8217;s current health.<\/li><li>Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications like any allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy before beginning the service.\u00a0<\/li><li>Maintains spa and treatment room appearance, and cleanliness according to standard operating procedures.<\/li><li>Maintain knowledge of hours of operation<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/set.html\">Set<\/a>\u00a0up and organise workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; report shortages to supervisor.<\/li><li>Be familiar with all spa\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/package.html\">packages<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/promotions.html\">promotions<\/a>, prices and rates.<\/li><li>Ensures that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa.<\/li><li>Provide massage services to guests using props and\/or products.<\/li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, Also use equipment only as intended.<\/li><li>Maintain positive\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/guest-relations.html\">guest relations<\/a>\u00a0at all times and maintain client details and confidentiality.<\/li><li>Try to resolve guest complaints, ensure guest satisfaction and inform the management about any incidents or guest complaints.<\/li><li>Handle emergency procedures and report any\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/accident.html\">accidents<\/a>\u00a0to your manager and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/security.html\">security<\/a>.<\/li><li>Handle inappropriate guest behaviour as per the spa\u2019s standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists.<\/li><li>Frequently check with guests to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.<\/li><li>Fill out necessary reports or data at the end of each session.<\/li><li>Attend all scheduled meetings, classes and training sessions; knowledge required within the Spa must be passed on to co-workers.<\/li><li>Assists with washing and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/fold.html\">folding<\/a>\u00a0of all\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/linens.html\">linens<\/a>\u00a0used in treatment rooms.<\/li><li>Carry out any other duties assigned by management.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Physically&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/setupmyhotel.com\/homepage\/hotel-management-glossary\/fit.html\">fit<\/a>&nbsp;and in good health (strength is not a major requirement, but stamina is necessary).<\/li><li>Caring, positive attitude to clients.<\/li><li>Genuine interest in helping clients overcome their physical problems.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>10<sup>th<\/sup> or 12<sup>th<\/sup> Pass<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Handling all massages as per the spa operational and treatment standards.
